Instead of spending the money on a galant i decided id be better off just buying an evo.. (and after my friend offered me his 130k miles built bottom end evo with stock turbo) for 10k
He bought it for 6k and it needed new lifters.. lol so im thinking of just selling all the dsm crap and taking out a loan for the small portion that's left... Would be a better daily than me 2007 mini cooper that's worth less and breaks down all the time.

Have you checked on insurance yet? I know you mentioned you were 19. I checked a while back and mine would go up $100 a month and I'm 37 with no tickets or accidents.

Yeah ive been checking around for insurance and its a little bit more...
But the insurance on my mini cooper is pretty dang expensive plus I have a loan on that...
So if i sell that and my dsm parts I could buy the evo almost out right..

I used to have 2 cars and a bike.. so Between all the loans and insurance that was pretty expensive..
Still less than what an evo would be

If I bought the car out right and I just put liability on it (Im a really safe driver) if I get in an accident it would be from someone else
Its $80 a month.. My 250cc bike was more than that

My thoughts exactly. I decided I wouldn't own an evo until we could pay cash for it. But then again, you never know what the future holds and no matter how safe you drive sometimes shit happens, it's life. So even if I owned my car with no lien I can't say that I'd feel safe knowing that I could potentially wreck my 10k+ vehicle, it be my fault and I lose the car.

At the end of the day I'm a cheap bastard though  . Guess that's why everything in my yard was made in the 90's and we only have liability insurance on them.

Yeah I really want collision and it bumps it up to $200 a month so itll really depend on what I can figure out for a job.. Right now I just donate plasma, buy/sell car parts, and do side jobs working on cars. It pays what I need right now but with an evo I need some extra income

Same here. I work for myself, make my own hours and if I need to take off I can do it w/o asking anybody. It pays the bills and lets me have a little fun working on my projects. However I'd have to get a real job to be able to afford an evo  . So I don't see me driving one anytime soon. Plus I get too bored with cars and like to switch up. It's easier to do that when you drive something old and cheap. It also helps that my wife is into the older Mitsu's too, which is rare.
