I have read about using the TEL suspension stuff and thinking about doing this conversion. I have looked into OE kyb gr2 and lowering springs or coilover sleeves but not sure if I will be happy with the out come, I want this suspension to be good for whatever and I have read people say the gr2 can be bouncy with stiff coilover springs.

My main concerns are if I was to do a stock spring config dont TEL springs have a larger diameter so I would need the top coil spring retainer thing.

I can only find coilover sleeves for 95-99 eclipse and lots of honda ones, does anyone run TEL KYB AGX with coilover sleeves? Would either of these fit?

I have read people use gs coilovers I think is the name with kyb gr2s but I would like adjustability especially if one day I do a motor swap on this baby.

I want this car to be "stiff" but comforatable if those are both possible with that being said what about 300lb spring rate front and back?

Stiff comfortable may be possible but low and comfortable is not with that setup. Reallythe big problem with dsm stuff is that the struts are at least an inch longer. So even at stock csm ride height your shock is already compressed one inch. Now if you lower it more you just lose more and more stroke of the shock which can cause bottoming out and other bad things.

The bottom line is that csms have really short oe struts.

I think aside from ksport coilovers the only way to make something that could be low and functional is that you would have to do one of those builds where you cut open an oe strut an source a short strut insert like a mk2 vw toyota mr2 or super spendy koni race inserts (#8610) etc. There is fabrication and strut insert retainment systems to deal with so its kind of complicated stuff. Look at ae86 guys vw guys and the whole stancework crowd to see those kinds of coilover builds.

as far as threaded sleeves and other coilover hardware check out coleman racing and or speedway motors. They have the right stuff and its better than ebay cheapies

Well everytime I started the car it would reek of fuel. I figured it was just running rich or leaking somewhere. Well I found the fuel leak. Its the top line... Is this stock, how the metal goes to rubber to metal?

I had an exhaust leak at the head bc I didnt properly torque the nuts.. Since I pulled the exhaust heat shield again I decided to clean it up with degreaser and soapy water as well as go over it with 80 grit then prime and paint it.

Its the other line which I could just hose clamp it right. What size line is the top line the parts store hooked me up with some 5/8 and something more narrow.

Where could I get the line in the picture or did you make it

Battery positive (+) to alternatorĀ - From the positive terminal on your battery to the alternator positive (+) post
Engine block to chassis groundĀ - From engine block to bare chassis metal. This is to complete the circuit of the alternator itself, allowing for a stronger ground.
Battery ground (-) to chassis groundĀ - From the negative terminal on your battery to your car's chassis

I got the Big 3 finished for now, I will put 0 gauge from battery to chassis when necessary the 4 gauge is less than a foot so I'm good, but I have the triple 4 gauge run from block to chassis. Today I ran the 0 gauge from alternator to battery. Its a bit overkill but I didn't want to regret doing it in 4 gauge and I have a lot of 0 gauge around.

Less resistance, Less Voltage drop (not verified) just shorter, thicker and better quality wire. Will add a 10 or 20 farad cap in the future.
