I've had my eye on this car for a month or so but didn't feel like driving almost 2 hours to check it out. Plus I really didn't need another car sitting in the yard. The owner relisted it the other day and I had some spare time so we took off heading his way. Once I got there and saw the car I was so glad that nobody else had already scooped it up. She's not perfect but well worth the $350 I paid for it. He said his girlfriend ran it low on oil and they think the engine seized. I haven't even had time to mess with it, I felt the body alone with a good title was easily worth that. I absolutely hate the red interior but I won't complain, it was $350. It has the original window sticker and all of the paperwork in the glove compartment too. Here are some pics.

Haha very nice :)
I never sow interior colored like that before.. :D
But sure for $350 its good.
Plus you got almost full tank of gas.
Probably not big thing in states but here, when someone sells there car, they leave few drops of fuel in it :D
You pay $6,8 for a gallon here.
All in all great find.
Swap? :D

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it just yet. The lady made the comment about the gas too, she said you know it had to break down shortly after I filled it up  . My intentions were to part the car out at first and start my own junkyard but after I saw how clean it was I just can't bring myself to do it. Body wise it's in a lot better shape than my 4g. I have 500 other things going on at the moment so it'll probably just sit for a while. I'll be sure to update this thread whenever I start on it though.

Be sure to get that fuel out of the tank and into something else. Nasty Ethanol crap we have now days doesn't like to sit for long periods of time.

Btw is that hitch one of the bolt on to to the bumper ones, or a rigged up job? if its the type that used the bumper mounting points I call dibs, if shootout delivery is available :)

Nate, I'd have to peek under there and see about the hitch. Honestly though I'll probably keep it and buy one of those little Harbor Freight trailers for larger items at the junkyard. Good point on the fuel, I need some in my parts washer anyway. 8)

Thanks guys, Can't wait to find some time to wrench on it.

Aaron, they find me man, I promise 8) . Well I do have a bad habit of searching craigslist just to see what's out there but still. I try not to buy these cars but it seems they don't sell and I just cant stand to see them go to the junkyard.

Actually if the carpet and seats were black I don't think the interior would be too bad to be honest. As it sits now there's just too much red though IMO.
