I got tired of looking at all the yellow with no breaks, so I got some penstriping and clearcoat and think it turned out pretty good.

Looks great! I'm gonna go ahead and quote myself from a couple pages back though.
Quote:
A red stripe down the molding would break up all the yellow too.
Now I just wanna see a silver 5 spoke on the car. Maybe a borbet type A and some more lows.

I have been trying to remove the paint over the red trim for 3 or 4 months. I saw someone doinig this and a lighhtbulb went off. As for thhe rimss, I will stay with the black. I might entertain removing one coil from the front springs, but i like being able to go over speeed bumps and these cars handle like crap when too low

As I was scrolling down the page I thought "I hope he went with red in the moulding". The yellow and red just work!

Decided to use the stock/correct shift arm I got from 89MirageMan on my F5M33 tranny to replace the bolt modified stocker. Only went through 2 black and decker bits and 3 Dewalt Cobalt tipped bits, but I finally got the pins drilled out. Just waiting for the paint to dry to install (paint not shown, using satin black).

I need to do this to my car, my extended shift cables don't look like they are going to hold up much longer.

It is well worth it. I had a welded arm on the transmission I installed on Saturday (has an LSD insert) and I loved how it shifted. But, sadly that transmission is whining real bad, gear oil is very sparkly, so yesterday after work I squirmed around in the driveway and swapped it back out for this stock f5m33 with the new shift arm. Now I can get rid of the pistol grip shift knob I was using to get more than a 3" throw out of the shifter and go back to my worn but nicely weighted Evo shift knob.

Sadly, had to go back to the modified shift arm. Had some 2nd/4th/Rev engagement issues. I need some adjustable shift cables before I can go to the factory shift arm.

Finished off the stereo install (still gotta have tunes.) The turbo motor sounds good, but not for long drives.)

Pioneer DEH-X8500BT
MTX TNS65 Component set (front doors)
Kicker DX 150.2 amp running MTX cmponents
Kenwood KFC G6930 (rear stock locations) running off deck as fill
Kicker Comp 10" subwoofer in 1cu-ft sealed box
MB Quart FX1.600 Mono amp running Subwoofer

Hits nice and hard, sounds clean. Nice to be able to crank those 70's/80's hits when I want.

If you're swapping in a F5M33, all you have to do is swap the bolt on lever from the KM210 on to the F5M33 and Bend the lower lever to match the Km210s original position. And yes adjustable shift cables makes it very easy to fine tune the shifter once you get the levers close to the original positioning.

I had a correct lever, but it didn't work, caused grinding on the tranny in 2-4-r. It just needed the adjustable cables to finish off the 4g shifter/F5M33 conversion.
