well small update. the progress is slow, i pulled the head on the new motor and the cylinders look really good you can still see the cross hatch marks. i was told the motor has 130k on it.Image
i also pulled the head apart i am replacing the valve steam seals, lifters and i am lapping the valves. i am hoping to have the head done this weekend. next weekend i am going to pull the front case to eliminate my balance shafts.

i have a friend that has some wheels he would give me a good deal on i am thinking about picking up what do you guys this of them?

If the rims provide more room for tire width and are lighter, then yes, go for it!

If they are clones, and heavier than stock Mirage/Colt rims, I would hold back. Tires is up to you, and can weight considerably more than 195/60/14's.

Food for thought. I always wonder this when I see four bolt rims that fit a 4x114.3 setup.

Those look like real 5Zigens to me but aren't they 4x100?

They made the 5Zigens in 4x114.3 too. Riceless90 had a set on his Summit wagon for a while.

Nice work! I approve of 3G sedans and yours looks nice and clean! Can't believe this sat outside for years..... :drinkers:

I like the US lower dashes. They look nicer and less cheap than the Canadian ones here. I've never experienced those funky seatbelts though. All the C/DSMs here have regular pull to clip seat belts.
