Well, I have been busy have not done much with the car in the last month along with paying some big buck for my trans to get replaced in my truck. I have had 10ecu rebuilt with new caps and been slowly working on the heat exchanger. I have made most of the scoop and thought I could attach 2 fans but I messed up when measuring and should have ordered 2 8in fans instead of 2 9in fans. I will try the exchanger with the scoop with the 1 9in fan and see how it does. I need to install a temp sensor in my water system for the intercooler. I should have the scoop finished and heat exchangers installed Saturday which I will get pictures. I am having a bunch of tuning issues (have not tried your tune Thom) and have gotten once again frustrated with the car, so I stepped away so I would not light it on fire. I got some toys installed for show to confuse the hell out of people and I will post pictures sooner or later.

Since that last tune I installed a GM-MAF w/Translator and 680's. Got a good idle and cruise tune. This tune may still work for you. Since I am using v3 lite, I do not have an option for the GM-MAF, so it is looking at a 1G MAF in link. I am about ready to get the upgrade to full V3 and the MAF cable to get rid of the translator.

I can send you the new tune if you would like.

I will soon will be progressing on this car. I bought a shop this past winter and has taken all my time for the last few months. I picked up a few more dsms and so now I am stuck with too many cars and need to sell some. I hope to get this car back running. The last time I started it I blew the freeze plug in the small 16g and had to replace it. I also was running super rich to the point it looks like a diesel. I am taking the car back down to almost stock....450cc injectors, side mount, 1g maf, 2g exhaust mani, small 16g, and re-installing the original 02 sensor as I don't think the ecu is actually adjusting fuel even though it is outputs the wideband signal on my v3. i know something is wrong with my v3 chip anyway as it does some weird things when set to stock installed in a good running stock dsm. I hope to be going to shootout and maybe talk to the dsmlink guys about just getting another chip.
Also found out what trans problems i was having was due to my buddy not putting a new throw out bearing, fork, and pivot ball in the car when putting the new none welded trans in so YEAH FOR THAT. Sadly I have had the parts in the car for over 6 months waiting for install.

Time to buy 3 lifts to make room in the shop. I hope to have the lifts bought and in the shop by Feb. This will allow me to have time and space to revive some projects. In a month I turn 30, I told myself I will be done buying projects and stupid fun cars so I have been on a buying spree. So what have I purchased? Jared's 90 tsi awd manual (I spent a year assembling this car with one of my best friends to someday give to his son. Mounting money problems brought on the sale of the car and I couldn't see it get beat on by some pos), POS 90 tsi awd manual parts car (some how I started to rebuild a parts car the last 3 months bad idea), 93 summit wagon off Thomcasey, and another summit wagon many of you know from Rob. I don't know how I bought 3 red 4g cars in 1 year or why I would do such a horrible thing. Red 4g cars have always given me problems, I don't know about anyone else. So what is on my radar for this coming year as I didn't achieve my goals this past year at all? Well for the next year I need to get some 3000gt vr4 done and sold. Put the 99 gsx back together and sold. I will be starting a C4 ls2 project to help a friend. The colt is back on the radar with just the big16g, 660cc, and wta intercooler and lsd insert fwd 5speed trans and clean everything up including getting a solid intercooler setup (keeping it simple as I want the car on the road). Jared's 90 tsi needs the bottom end rebuilt with some new bearings and a new turbo. Then I have a few timing jobs to do on a few cars.
