Hey guys I'm looking for some help I'm a little beat by my recent project . Its a 91 summit sedan 4g15 .I'm currently trying to swap it out with a 92 awd auto abs harness from my talon donor car . I need some specific info on what wires to power up . Both harnesses are clean unistalls I did not cut a single wire . And I have all the cassis plugs I can still cut off for jumper harnesses I just need good clear info . Thanks Justin @ 360 485 3013 |

Might I suggest an introduction. It's not always the best way to get info by making your first post a request for knowledge. My $.02 |

A proper introduction is always good. I am in Seattle but am not familiar with those harnesses. |

my apology's im really not sure what an introduction is ? that's how far behind i am on forum etiquette. a die hard 6 bolt fan ive had a few dsm's and a few mighty max turbo projects and fell in love with the power for the price . i tend to get in over my head with some of them though. like my current project i hope i did that right . its really not my intention to be rude . i really need the experience of your time spent with these cars . the project im working on is a 6bolt 4gcs with the 16v 4g63 head and 8v pistons . yes it dose clear without the valve reliefs . cams are reground 272's with aem cam gears to close the lobe separation if need be but im wagering ill need a little compression loss as i think this thing is like 11.5:1 the 8v head is 64 cc's if i remember correctly and the 4g63 head is like 55cc's and its had a little shaved off the bottom to boot . pretty basic parts other than that . i want to use the w4a33 awd auto i have with the center diff welded and drop the transfer case off . to make a fwd commuter that is n/a . i think it will work as uncommon as it seems. i can handle every thing in regards to fabrication and motor work . wiring is a little tuffer for me . the harness is in the car now and half hooked up there are some differences in the harnesses that go to the chassis. the ecu and tcu look the same . the plugs and wire colors are different on the chassis . im looking for a good write up on how to lite up the stock dsm harness in the colt summit chassis then i can start trying to chase down the dsm neutral safety switch and what not to see if i can get the two compatible. ive done the 5 lug swap and big breaks . i could share my parts list if any one is interested . its pretty much just 99galant wagon rotors and calipers in expo knuckles and dsm hubs with a conversion seal from the 80's mirage the axle hubs are smaller on the stock summit axles . https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater so now its time to do the motor. she is not the car i want to tear apart and let set in the back yard to rot . i have a tone of parts and im good at other things as far as hard parts or chip burning but that mess of wires is really got me beat please help ? thanks guys |
