You need the steering rack from the turbo car too!

Much better steering ratio. Believe me.

Also, can you get the VIN from that car. Mucho importante. :supz:

Build date from the driver door jamb, firewall code, VIN.

Super pretty please.

I can add it to the registry or confirm any issues with it changing hands.

Man I almost cried seeing that thing in the junkyard, who would do that to such a limited production car? At least go back and get the rear disc backing plates and hubs. Those are the hard to find parts. You can use the calipers and lines from a 1g fwd dsm later on when you have more cash, those are everywhere.

I'd grab the eprom ecu, wiring harness and Mirage rear filler panel too. If you don't need them you can at least make some of your money back.

This is what my driveway and garage looks like now!

I have that very same color Mazda 626 and silver Colt combo.

Are both front fenders in good condition, no rust ? I saw the minor dent on the driver side, that's no problem.

Wondering if it's worth restoring mine, or just finding factory painted replacements. I found a set on Ebay in white but with scratches quite deep into the panels. Bonus about other markets is that they have no antenna hole on the RF fender top. They mount the antenna the antenna on the roof skin and aim the sleeve down into the A pillar.

Very nice, but you do know you could have used your existing rear axle beam and just bolted on the brackets and calipers right?

Yeah I figure out when I was at the junk yard, but since I bought the whole rear axle beam loaded I got it cheaper in that way

Well guys I haven't updated my build thread because we have been so busy, first because we have a new born baby so priorities first

Short story for unknown reasons my MHI 16g went bad (few pulls on 25psi by accident then bum!) so I had to use a T25 for a while(yeah not fun)

Now the Updates:
My Rear Disc Conversion finally installed
Image
Tach Cluster finally in working condition, the other one never worked because it was bad, I just installed the one I got from the junk yard and whoala!
Image
Finally I Installed some 93' Turbo Cams and Toda Racing Timing Belts straight from Japan
Image
Image
HKS Clear Timing Cover Straight from Ebay lol
Image
My Sway bar link bushings were bad so I decided to replace them too
Image
Image
Image
Time for equal length axles
Image
After I saved enough for a new turbo, I decided for this Godspeed Tdo5 20g, probably cheap brand for some or considered as ebay crap for others, well I did my own research before buying mine and the opinions about these turbochargers were divided, let say 60% for good opinions with personal experiences and 40% with bad opinions but most of them weren't personal experiences...

Here is how my engine bay looks right now

About my personal experience with the GSP turbo:
*Installation:
The turbo came with his own oil feed and return line, oil feed banjo bolt and hardware, I didn't like the oil feed banjo bolt because it was too long so I decided to install a OEM banjo bolt and OEM bolts for the hot side instead the studs that came with it, the wastegate actuator was working fine, very accurate until I broke the vacuum nipple when I was performing a boost leak test, I replaced it with a Mitsubishi actuator
*Performance:
Well it has been good turbo so far, it got now a lot of highway pulls on 16/18 psi with 20+ boost spikes, like 15 races at the track and from these the last 7 were 13 second passes, the car it's waiting to get a good tune + more boost a soonest I get a wideband, btw here is my best time slip until now:

13.53s @105 mph

I noticed the feedback on the ebay turbo a few years ago when I bought one. Most of them were just opinions or my neighbor said they were crap lol. I sold mine before I ever got a chance to run it but the new owner has updated me several times saying its still going strong.

The car is looking good, so clean!
