The real story is that that turbo lasted me a year and a half with a broken BOV and I didn't know, that was the main reason about why that turbo blew and it was year and a half of insane abuse that no one does with his 4g63 at least locally, ask biglady112 (he's always telling me that I look like a kid lol), another thing is that not all the people messing around with 4g63s have a big wallet, at least not me, I have seen "brand" turbos that don't last even a year and being honest for what I paid and for the power I'm making I think is good enough, before I bought the first Godspeed I made my own research and I find out that most the negative comments were from people that dont even owned one before, just rumors or I know a person that knows a person, but all the good comments were from real owners (drifters, dragsters, daily driven cars), I know at the end of the day still china made but that's all I could afford right now, and I really like that hta68 but right now this turbo is doing great, pretty much like that hta would do... |

Ok, makes a little more sense now. I hope it doesn't end up costing you a motor though. |

turbo blown can never hurt an engine. compressor wheel parts dont pass through intercooler. and if they do they simply burn at 1600 degrees. with a 900 degree melting point. bearing material into pan doesnt pass oil pickup screen. |

Hi! I don't know if I you already seen th new dyno numbers post with a 5756 turbo and 1200 injectors, the torque got killed a little bit and power its almost the same, (Spool time is pretty similar on both turbos), now I don't know why but it feels way faster even if according to numbers I'm making less power, but I'm beating some cars that I don't used to beat with the td05 20g and the 2.0L, the td05 20g on the 1.8L was maxed out @25 psi and it was making less power, but both engines run pretty similar just the 1.8L revvs faster than the 2.0L |

Couldn't imagine 422whp in one of these things. Bet it just makes you smile and laugh every time you take it out and drive it. Looks awesome too! |

Just a little update since I haven't been active on the forum, but as some of my fb friends know, the 4g67t still strong after one year of abuse, last dyno numbers (march 17) were 427whp/410tq, same setup still... |

Nice build up thread man, thanks for sharing!! I would have thrown in some gas money to see you waste that 800hp subie proper like in that 1320 video. Cool props to you. |
