Here is some pictures of her at a local EVO/DSM meet of last week:

The Galant Bra it's gone, I gave it to a friend with a Gvr4 btw

I need some advice here, I know the way to go it's DSMlink but right now I can't afford that, since I'm not tuning the ECU and the aftermarket chip that I bought was making my Colt running like crap I decide to put the stock chip back on, she is running decent I guess, I have beaten some Sti's, Evos and Local DSM's with her and this is what I have right now:

Mhi big 16g @15psi
2g fuel injector rail with 2g fpr
560cc fuel injectors from Evo VIII
Evo IV fuel pump
2g MAF
NON TURBO cams from a 1998 Hyundai Sonata
The head it's from a Hyundai Sonata (2g style ports pretty much)
Stock 4g63 6bolt block

Since I'm running 2G Maf I had to put the 560cc to "compensate", the thing is that I'm using a stock eprom chip from an AUTO DSM which it's configured to 390cc, should I put the stock eprom chip from a Manual and will make it run more decent? or will be compensated about the same with this automatic chip for 390cc?

Definitely put in the manual ECU. This way your compensation for the bigger injectors will be correct. It will run much better. The EVO 560's have the same global (-18%) as the 550's most run with the 2gMAF, but they also have the same dead-time setting as the stock 450's, so your AFR's should be pretty good.

Small update!
I went to bandimere last wednesday with the Colt, I broke an axle on the first attempt to run (i know it sucks), went home for the axle nut sockets and the new axle, after all of this mess i did my first pass 14.65 @99mph with the automatic ecu, on my last pass i did a 14.62@97mph with the manual ecu, all of this passes were with all weather tires, so next year i will be there with a better set of tires lol...

I'm curious as to how the axle broke, can you give us some insight on that? What axle set-up are you using? Nice runs for shake downs 8)

I broke the driver side axle (the long one), I do have 90-91 GST axles, i would like to do equal length since it's direct bolt on but i don't know if it's really necessary replace the output seal for an AWD like i did on my 2g when i went equal length, they worked pretty well btw...

Ohh ok, makes sense. I thought maybe you were running the turbo Colt axles, which is probably what most will recommend, I was going to be surprised at the break.

After the axle issue on the first attempt, here is my best ET 14.62 @97mph

Bye bye 90' F5m33, Welcome 94' F5M31 (don't forget replace the starter plate as well lol)

94' Galant shifter cable bracket vs 91' CSM shifter cable bracket

In order to adjust the shifters from the tranny to make them work on my CSM I used two pliers as you see on the picture, then used the torch to heat them and worked great...

One from Latvia, another from Israel hehe

Here some Suzuki Sidekick head rests on the Colt seats

Since they're too dark I guess they don't do a good match with the seats

Your car is looking good! Do you still have the 1.5 laying around? It looks like I'm not going to be able to do the 63 swap until next year so I'd like to have a good running motor in the car. I picked up your trans a while back. Let me know

I would like to share some pictures of my Hyundai G4CP (aka Korean 4g63) build currently running on my Colt, as some of you know they are 6 Bolt and I have been using this engine since July 2013, I finally found these pictures because I had them lost then I found them and here they are, it seems to hold the abuse pretty well (ran 14.6X with no tune), I thought this info could be useful...
Image
The engine came from a 1998 Hyundai Sonata with 134k miles, I did my own research before throw it on the Colt and found out that Crank, Rods, Main Caps and Bearings are the same of the 6 Bolt Turbo
Image
Everything looks like a 6Bolt Turbo except for no oil squirters
Image
The timing belt tensioner its like the 7Bolt style
Image
Since its a OBD2 engine it comes with Crank Sensor on the crank case (oil pump), but watch out because this pump may look like the 7 Bolt found on 2G DSMs but it's different, it won't fit either on a 6Bolt Turbo Block or 7 Bolt, so it's a unique design for OBD2 G4CP Blocks
Image
As you can see these blocks don't come with a Knock sensor location, so I had to make a hole and thread for it...
Image
Image
4g63 6 Bolt Turbo Block

G4CP Block
Image
4g63 6 Bolt Turbo crank case
Image
G4CP crank case after cleaning
Image
Since this crank case has a round shape right on the middle the engine oil pan both of the turbo oil pans won't fit, so you have to run the G4CP oil pan, then in order to run a return line I drilled the holes for the oem return line and welded some nuts...
Image
Now the question that you guys were thinking, Which pistons I left on the block?? Well I just throw a set of stock 6 Bolt Turbo pistons and rods
Image
Image
Next thing that I thought that would be good to run was a oil cooler because the stock oil filter adapter from the G4CP it's non cooled, I went with a OEM water oil cooler I guess it's better than nothing, well the 6 bolt oil filter adapters won't fit in the crank case but 7 Bolt was a little bit closer, so this is what I did:
Here is a 7 Bolt oil filter adapter with the G4CP oil filter adapter gasket, the yellow section it's what I had to drill in order to make it fit
Image
Image
Image
Here is the engine fully assembled
Image
Cylinder Head it's Hyundai as well, Intake manifold it's from a 94' Galant GS , cams are Hyundai too, I haven't replace them yet for turbo ones...

*Instrument cluster

*Mitsubishi VC
*Half shaft and driver side axle
*Steering wheel (I just find out that I also need the steering column lol)
I was thinking on the rear disc conversion but I can't really afford that right now :(

Today we took the Colt to the dyno to see what I was doing with the current setup, the first two passes were with the Auto 1G Ecu Chip and the third with the Manual 1G, no big difference between them
245.89whp/263.85tq
Image
Image
Image
I guess it's not bad but I would like to see what you guys think? current setup:
Ecu 1G Stock (untuned)
Hyundai 6 Bolt with 1g 7:8.1 pistons and rods
Hyundai head (2g style ports) and Hyundai non turbo cams
Big 16g (non evo III) @15psi
2g Maf
560cc fuel injectors
2g fuel rail with 2g FPR
Evo IV fuel pump
2g Style Intake manifold
2g exhaust manifold and O2 housing ported
3" Exhaust with no muffler
Act Flywheel and Clutch
F5m31 transmission

I need to install the turbo cams ASAP to see if I can touch at least 250whp (which was my goal with this setup), then once I hook the ECM link will see what else we can do, suggestions welcome :supz: ...
