FMIC without hacking the fins/cover :). Only the rebar was cut, no other metal was touched.

Ok, a second 90-93 Integra rad was procured, and everything was installed. I definitely dig the S16G, even at 10 psi it's hilarious. The one main issue I'm having is airflow to the rad, since now the IC blocks the lower intake in the bumper. I'm still running pretty hot, and in traffic/idling after a drive, the fans do not turn off. I have added my Perma-Cool mini-mega CFM fan as a puller, but I think the crappy china clone fan that came with the rad is just not strong enough to haul air through the rad, mounted on the shroud as it is. I weather-stripped the shrould last night, but the 12" fan that came with the rad just isn't strong enough. I have the 13"-14" fan I had on the neon rad, so I'll try mounting that right to the rad itself this weekend.

While rolling, I'm seeing 95*C, which is a bit hotter than I was getting with the Neon rad. It never rises past 100*C while idling, but it's still not hot here yet. If the bigger main fan doesn't help, I'm going to order the highest CFM fan I can get, lol. If THAT doesn't work, I'll switch to Evans Waterless Coolant and just ignore the temp gague, haha.

Done :)
Shitty shroud and china fan removed, huge fan mounted directly to the rad, and new DSM upper rad hose installed. It cruises at 93*C (199*F), and when idling it takes a while for the fans to come on. When they do, they are on for a little bit and then shut off...which wasn't happening with the initial setup. I'm stoked right now :).

Tomorrow the shop car is making a trip to Napierville Dragway to shoot for 8's...maybe I'll make a pass :).

Kind of odd that your IC would cause you to run warm. Do you have any factory shrouding left?

I don't think it's the IC anymore, since tossing the china fan and shroud in the trash brought temps down with just the addition of a proper fan. As of today it's exactly like stock, temp-wise :).

I stopped being able to receive radio signals a few weeks ago, which bugged me. I need to listen to the radio in the mornings to get the traffic reports, so I took everything out to fix it. The radio was fine, but the connection at the antenna had corroded away. A few minutes with some sandpaper, solder, and wire, and it's good as new again.

Now all I need is a proper clutch...

I'm pleased to say that the car is now tip top shape (fingers crossed it stays that way). I blew out the intake manifold gasket at the track on my ONLY pass (14.9 @ 100mph, 2.7 60', lol), so I replaced the crappy fel-pro one with an OEM metal gasket and everything seems to be back to normal. The s16g is DEFINITELY an awesome upgrade, although it's really pointing out the flaws in my designs, haha. I've already blown off an IC pipe, and that was just on a test drive after replacing the gasket.
