Driver side axle i removed vs dsm stub axle setup to be installed. Looks like the dsm axle does not fit, pparently i need the turbo mirage axle and i had a turbo fwd dsm axle.

The car weighed 2180 back in the fwd 5speed days. With the auto, cage and awd conversion im probably over 2500. So as long as make 700whp it should be capable of low 9s.

Haven't touched the car since the last round of photos. Luckily I didn't have to sell it to buy the house but we made this meme for fun. Car is sitting in the backyard and I'm getting settled in the house. Hope to work on it soon Image

So I thought I was crammed in with a 20g. I have no more complaints now.
SoOOOO any progress?

I am also interested in that crazy drivershaft u-joint. Why didnt you make have a 3/8in thick steel disk with the holes punched in it? I mean you have so much other fab work done. Not trying to be critical btw cause you have done way more fabing on this cars than I have on a single car.

What Radiator is that?

Last fuel fitting will be here today. So within the next couple days it should run. Have a bunch of loose ends before I beat on it but I would like the car to run and drive. It's been too long.

Scirocco radiator. I honestly didn't think of that for the driveshaft. A friend was kind enough to let me use a lift and welder for the weekend so I got as much done as possible to make the drivetrain complete.
