Big plans for my mirage. Finally got it running decent with the fwd auto and fp3065 so I decided to tear it apart and go awd. This isn't going to be an overnight project as I still have to gather alot of parts.

Here's some pics of the new turby, manifold, and radiator.

Hey.....what kind of FMIC is that? Looks a lot like the Slowboy 1G Race FMIC.

Oh and nice build!

Here's a photo from a race last month. Ran 11.1 with the auto and decided to hack the car call up. My auto isn't shifting into 3rd so now is a good time to make the awd switch.

I think the intercooler maybe the old dejon tool race core off my dsm, I don't really remember where it came from.

Ordered the 4 link yesterday. Competition Engineering standard 4link kit. Updates will come slow, trying to go blow a grand on a mini ski trip in a couple weeks, I've never seen snow.

Competition Engineering standard 4link kit and weld in driveshaft loop. I plan on using the driveshaft loop as the forward mounting points for the 4link brackets and tieing it into the cage and body.

Build is getting more intense. Found a good deal on a set of groden rods. Was hoping to re-use my pistons but after pulling the motor apart this evening I discovered they are trash. Looks like piston slap, hopefull the block is ok, will snap pics tomorrow in the sunlight. The motor has ticked since it was assembled, I thought it was valvetrain at first. Still ticked ith the head I purchased fron RedSleeper. I just. Let it ride aince it never seemed to get any worse. Here's a video of the ticking.

how much was the 4 link setup? and what rear end do you plan to run?

i have the 86 turbo t-bird rear now.. was thinking of using the stock mounting locations and put hiem joints for the adjustments..so I dont have to add a panhard bar..

might get a diff rear now since I need to replace the gears for the auto. time will tell tho lol.
