I knew that! I'm pretty sure they are the same as some euro and Japanese lights though too.

They are all the same, but you're still a JDM whore.

Mostly true. I just like having hard-to-find parts and building a car in a way everyone else can reproduce easily.

Rota slips are as good as sold. Picked up my 4-luggers for this season today. They are rough and will need a full rebuild, but I am confident they will turn out great. They are a lot more period correct for the car anyway. Hope you love them!

I think if the center were gloss black that would look real nice.

16x8 +32 will be final offset. Two wheels are 7" wide and I'm using th faces from those to rebuild the 8's. Should be perfect offset on a csm. Maybe a small spacer on the rear to be flush and match the front.

Always a hater. These are probably the nicest set of wheels on the board (after refinish). Not everyone can have legit wheels and not knock-offs.

I'm only like 50% hater, the other half of me just knows that I have good taste and you don't. :P

i'm thinking those will look quite nice on your car, good choice. and a +32 8" rim should fit just right, since i run +25 7" wide, and they're flush in the back. yours will actually be a quarter inch or so further out.

Thanks man! I saw what Debow787 was doing with the XXR's he has on his car, but without being able to put camber in the rear I wasn't comfortable with the amount of poke an 8" wheel would have on a +20 offset. I looked at ebay and found some that were +25, but that is still pushing it on a solid rear axle car, and the fronts would probably need a lot of camber too. Not to mention I can't stand all the knock-offs that are on the market now and how many people run that garbage. Having nice wheels is one of the single most important parts of having a car that is set apart from the rest.

Starting the rebuild process already too. Only had time enough time to dismount the tires and take apart two of the wheels today before work. I disassembled one of the 7" wheels and one of the 8's. The faces of both look to be identical in dimensions (even though they were obviously stamped differently when manufactured) so swapping the good faces onto the 8" barrels shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully I can get all 6 pulled apart and ready so that I can sandblast them on Thursday. I would like to drop off the hardware to get re-plated on Thursday as well. Then I will just have to find a place to powdercoat them, order new valve stems, and polish the lips up.
