The tranny and the x-fer case are pretty much the same as dsm parts. I believe the rears are weaker though.

Good progress. I don't know why owners of those cars make them so gross inside. When I got my 93 it had something that looked like Kix and milk all poured into the console, and the larvae of ten million deceased bugs under the front carpet. The back seat and carpet looked like yours did, as if someone used it for a yard car at a junkyard.

To top it off it was nasty blue, so I was really happy when I found a complete gray deluxe interior for $200 that was basically mint.

I ended up selling the car to one of my auto repair customers who smokes and never cleaned it or removed one piece of garbage from it in the three years he drove it. It took him 2 years to remove the spare fender from the back seat and various spare parts + wheels I gave him from the trunk.

Cruising through some FSMs and such I found these diagrams:

Depending on the diameter of the spring you will have a variety of springs to choose from. Measure that rear spring and we can go from there.

It's no direct-fit bolt-on affair, but with a welder and a six pack I can make anything happen. HAHA

So i still can't get the starter to stop grinding and I really dont feel like putting a bunch of money into this and not get any speed out of it so im going to start fresh. Money is kind of tight right now so this will be a slow build. Im not sure what im going to run engine wise. eather a 4g64 with 4g63 head or just a 4g63 and im even thinking about turboing the stock 4g64. ill post photo's as this project move's along.
