Nice score on the flaps, I think I've seen one set in the past 5 years at the yard.

Thanks Chris man. I also bought a set of "4WD" mud flaps off a Honda Civic RT4WD for the Vista. They fit really good in the back, the fronts will need a bit of work.

Did you ever do anything with that brake setup? Right now I'm working on a kit that uses 12" 350Z front rotors and 4 piston calipers from a Toyota 4wd pickup :P . Looks like it'll all bolt on with a simple bracket but we'll see.

They're sitting on my shelf. I have been thinking about finishing them, but haven't had time. If I was going to be using bigger rims I would went the bracket route, but I am trying stuff them into 15" Rota Slipstreams so it isn't quite so easy for me.

Yeah the backs have mirage on them, the fronts are blank. I considered making a stencil and painting Mirage on the fronts too.
Sell them to me! Or trade for something I got listed in my FS thread.

Thanks Hyde.

I blew the driver's side axle out again. First time I did it I had the wheel turned full lock and launched it off the 4,500rpm launch limiter because I was annoyed that I had to wait to turn into traffic. Childish I know... This time I did it making the car plow in the rain and turned the wheel full lock and ran the engine up to 5k rpm in third gear while moving in a straight line...

Thought I could use a two-piece Colt turbo axle with my KM206. Found out it doesn't line up right. Probably broke my hand fighting it...

Thankfully the one-piece unit I just blew is still under warranty and the local AutoZone hub has one. It will be at my local store tomorrow by noon. Cost me exactly $0. Smiles....

The Autozone CV I got under warranty was pulling out of the trans. Would be driving down the road and the engine would just free-rev when the inner truneon pulled out of the transmission. I was using a '91 CV which is about 1" shorter than the '89 CV. Luckily, I have a friend that gets parts cheap from KOI who called on a new, not remanufactured, CV for my application. For less than $50 this is what I got:

I am impressed.

Was out putting in the new CV and decided to install the mud flaps I recently acquired:

I performed the turbo conversion this weekend. Items that went onto the car: "Sleeper" 20g (16g CHRA and turbine with 20g wheel machined to fit the 16g housing), 2g turbo manifold, 190lph Supra fuel pump, 550cc Evo injectors, Aeromotive AFPR, "high flow" Supra fuel filter, Small FMIC w/ GVR4 hard pipes, 2g MAF, EGT gauge, PLX wideband, HKS boost gauge, Hallman external manual boost controller, 1.6l turbo ECU socketed w/ stock EPROM chip (will be ECMLink ver. 3 once I have my damaged ECMLink chip repaired and returned).
Hey bud, when you say 2G turbo manifold, do you mean a 2nd Generation Mirage manifold?

That would be a second generation DSM exhaust manifold. 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse or 1995-1997 Eagle Talon. The first generation DSM parts will also work just fine, but the second gen parts have slightly better characteristics.

Funny story. Even though I traded this car off for parts for my GVR4, it never left my house!

It is mine again and will be running very soon. :D
