So here goes the initial stage of the build. :partyman:

I purchaced the car with the cyl head off, no radiator, IC piping, exhaust dumps under the middle of the car, ect. It came with a head which was deemed to have leaky valve seals, and no cams. I decided to use several items I had lying around for my Talon project that never seems to get off the ground  .

Here's the list so far;

Ported head, by me.
HKS 272 cams
60-1 PTE, came with car, hope it lives a while.
1450cc FIC Bluemax inj
EVO IX valvesprings and retainers
Cyclone intake Manifold, also came with car.
COP with crane cams ignition with MSD tach converter box, worked great in my 90awd, should work perfectly in the colt.
DSM link V2, will upgrade to V3 soon.
Wingz Performance E85 Tune
EVO MAF for now, until V3
Here's some crappy pics of the car all dirty.
Better pics coming next week. :supz: Image

Updated the entry in the Registry, would appear you are 4th owner of this little red Gem! You guys did an amazing job at getting this car to look and run well. Congratulations, now go out and try to stay out of trouble.

Looks good! Reminds me of my car before I painted it and got rid of the oz wheels. :)

LOL, I like the Lancer with old-ass DSM wheels on it. Nice touch.

I could've sworn those cars were 4 lug. Guess not.

Only the rallifart is a 5 lug, with a 2.4 4g69 and short geared 5spd. Similar gearing to the colt actually. I put an evo 9 steering rack in it, now it has the nice "twichy" steering lol.

Ab, get some tires already! I'm not ready for the track just yet, I'm still in shakedown mode on the colt, I don't want to beat on it until I get it running exactly the way I want. :toimonster:
