i started a mini wire tuck on the engine harness. this is way easier than a dsm. im also moving the battery to the back. im going to have to find a new rad fan. i dont think a intake pipe with fit. also intercooler piping, im not looking forward to that. not much room.
since the harness comes out the drivers side. im going to route all of the harness over the intake.

then i started on the other wiring, started on the resistor pack, next is maf wiring one wire from the tps and of course changing the plug.

Thank you.

Side note. I really dislike radiators with built in trans coolers. I also dislike how the manifolds are bolted the blocks. Also does anyone know the id of the stock trans cooler lines on the non turbo autos

I bought a turbo the other day for the elantra. Its a smaller t3 turbo. Small change of plans. I had to rebuild my 16g and buy a down pipe. So it ends costing a little more,Oh well. I have to redo my exhaust already, so it works out. Also maf, knock, and resistor pack are all done. Now on the battery relocation, it seems that the two wires going to the fuse box are a part of the fuse box. Im going to pull the fender, and route the power wires under there with the chassis harness. Kinda wanna tuck the fuse box lol. It doesnt look to bad. I may have to buy a forced four shit box and remove the tcu and the auto harness. Don't think that the stock trans will last too long.

so i pulled the ac box out so i could trim the box of the box and gut it. im placing a firewall pass threw for the starter where the ac drain was. i need to pull the alternator power wire so i can replace it will with so 1/0 wire that will run underneath the drivers side fender.

I see stock Elantra's with dead auto trannies so I highly doubt it'll last 5 minutes with a turbo engine. Grab a 1g turbo fwd trans for it. I'm sure one could be had pretty cheap these days.

well i ordered some parts for the elantra. one step closer.

ordered an intercooler, fiav block off, 2.5-2.75 45 degree reducer, -6-3/8 barb fittings for the transcooler, and a firewall pass-throu for the starter cable. whats left manfold, wastegate, exhaust pieces, intake pipe, oil feed, oil feed, and i need to find a ecu. total spent so far, 346.13
