yeah I hope it stays nice for at least 10k miles... I've put ALOT of money and time into covering every little problem... except wireing :-? yeah... another time, but I am shortening some, wrapping it in some nice split cut wire protector and getting rid of all the stock plastic tubes and old tape so should at least look presentable now.

2.0 Engines bored and line honed for the ARP mains and new Wisecos, fuel system is all plumed and mounted, wires were re-wrapped to give a nicer appearance and the under side of the hood painted black (the chipping oil coated white really made the engine bay look bad) assembling tomorrow and then Saturday afternoon attempting to fire finally after almost 2 years!!! more excited than you could imagine :supz: :supz: :supz:

Wiseco pistons .040 over 8.3:1 and balance shaft delete kit with crank pulley spacer

ARP Mains over nighted because I forgot to order them in my shipment  $60 wasted

SOOO ready to drive this beast!

Well I bolted the trans to the engine and tried dropping it in myself... PITA!! had to get two more hands. She went in but my hands lost the battle, didn't need that skin anyway :o

to make matters worse the car starts but I cant connect to link because my good cable is in my Talon in WA so I have to order another, the J Pipe is blocking the FP intake so the rubber one is on for the time being, my odyssey race battery is dead as a door knob so I am relocating my spare Optima Red Top to the trunk and fixing the wiring ( everything is drawing from the battery causing my bad voltage and crappy startups) I sprung a coolant leak on the lower radiator hose and one of the oil pan turbo oil return bolts stripped so I have to heli coil it, Shes all back together now but something went wrong with the pump wiring so I have it hard wired to the battery with a toggle switch, other than that she runs awesome and as soon as the link cable gets here I can dial her in.

WHERE'S MOLLY HAHA

Image

Can I please get a non mustang enthusiast to help me! DERP haha

Image

Leaving nothing to chance, factory engine service manual and ALL bolts torqued to spec

Image

Had to overnight ARP main studs since I forgot them in my parts order. mains were align honed and a good thing too because none were straight

Image

inspected and cleaned rockers, 3G lifters, crower springs and retainers and polished OEM cams

Image

My beautiful hand mirror polished combustion chambers got dull  and the machine shop knurled the guides and found two bent valves during the lapping. head was minimally decked to to deep impressions on the fire rings and possible impact at one point

Image

FP 68HTA... Sneaky like a fox 8)

Image

brand new ACT street disc, and roughed up ACT street lite flywheel and 2600 pressure plate... fixed the starter plate after this shot :x

Build looks like it's going to be a handful for sure!

... by that, I mean traction on the street when fully into it.

I noticed a block off bolt in the head, where the old oil feed to the turbo would be.

What is holding that oil pressure back? I see the black goo ....

Hoping you can find a proper plug and some teflon to keep that sealed up.

You've sure got a whole lot more done than I would have in the time alotted.

Always had a thing for the white monster, in all its reincarnations.

The head oil block off was done by the previous owner of the headlong with 11 bolt holes I had to heli coil because they were stripped. I used that head because it was professionally ported. The oil feed to the turbo has a restrictor bolt to limit pressure. Oil pressure is at 80psi on warm up. I went with the 2.0 block because the 2.4 had the non Stroker 88mm crank so that will be a later build. Traction will still be an issue but I plan on swapping AWD in the next 3 years

Had to go to Panama City for two weeks and the only place I wanna be is breaking in this beast... The new Odyssey Race battery and ECMlink cord should be waiting for me when I get back.

Video of second start up, first start up the fuel pump would only stay activated for like 20 seconds before shutting off, we wired the pump to a toggle switch just for racecar purposes and because I wanted to hear her voice again!!

Well After chasing some boost leaks that ended up being a throttle body gasket on upside down shes now leak free. The clutch slave cylinder is leaking from being years old so replacing tomorrow, tranny is notchy but drives great.

The problem im running into is the O2 isn't cycling at all even during cruise, don't want to replace it till I know its the culprit but it sucks and its surging slightly because of it. Hopefully I can find the issue
