I think the evo 1-3 rear subframe goes in pretty easy on the 4g cars from what I've read.
I couldnt tell what has been done besides cutting out the spare tire hump which I think was only done for the cell. Looks like they drilled a few holes and bolted it all in. They had a complete donor car when they did it. Almost all the parts from this car are from the RWD AMS EVO 1.

Car looks great! Wish I would have picked that car up when the chance was there. Will this be attending the shootout?

Slight threadjack....does anyone know if anyone's used a 1g or 2g DSM rear sub frame on these mother humpers?

I saw one swap a while back with a 1g dsm rear subframe, it was not pretty at all. Seemed like it took a ton of modding to get it to work and I believe the rear wheels were sticking out past the quarters a little. The evo 1-3 rear drops right in with very little cutting or modding and is a much better fit since it was made for the car.

Yea mabe a 2g rear end or a 2nd gen expo rear is closer. I would really go to this car if the evo rear ends weren't so friggn rare/ expensive.

I don't think any car looks bad in white. Looks good, and some side skirts would make it look a little nicer. But that would add unneeded weight.

And it looks like some asshole has already vandalized your car! There's something on the rear window that says "Trevtec" Damn taggers!

What else needs to be done to get it going? You need a spacer plate or something to run the 1G with the 2G auto trans right? What other major parts are needed for the swap? Keep the progress coming. Let me know if you need a hand or just someone to break shit like Jason does.

Well Im using a 1G AWD tranny so no spacer needed. I need to buy a Nitrous kit, torque converter of some type, some seats. I also needs to build another head and I need some new valve springs for my new GSC S3 cams I bought.

Ive been thinking about going to the shootout since like 1997, every year I forget. If I have it running good and money is coming it I will try to make one soon.
