Your going to hate that exhaust. Lol.. I did that to my car one time becasuse i was tired of the "loud" downpipe.. yeah.. FML.. It eckos off everything. and is quieter to a point. you can actually talk while driving..But it would give me a head ache after driving for 20-30 min.

Nice! Were you able to use the factory mounting location for the driveshaft or did you make something to fit?

i have a side exit 2.5 in straight pipe on my colt. came that way. i will be getting it redone as a 3 inch all the way back with muffler. its right on the line of too loud and cant drive it this way, wot runs get punctuated by passing cars.

Not sure I'm following your question. Are you talking about the exhaust or driveshaft mounting??

I am sure he means the carrier bearing mount. Did you use the floor piece from the eclipse or did you custom make something.

All custom mounts, I didn't have a good enough welder or fabbing equipment to cut and re-weld the floor pieces.

Yep. I noticed when doing my exhaust that there were mounting points that looked like they were for a driveshaft carrier.

Those are the mounting points for the converter hanger. I am going to use them for my front carrier bearing.

Done, done and done. So start to finish it took about 2 and a half months. I obviously have some stuff to straighten out still but it's done, driveable and boy is she fun!! I did a quick little pull in second got to 24ish psi and let off. :o Awesome. I really need a set of 15" though, I rub soooo bad with the 225/50/16s.

Pictures!!! O and this was a quick wash, I know it needs a good wax. :butthead:
