Thanks, it most definitely is a relief hearing it run. I got my setting updated and correct and started it again. I'm having some weird issues with my Zeitronix ZT3 wideband. It isn't powering up with the gauge plugged in. If the gauge is unplugged, it will power on but as soon as you plug the gauge back in, it dies. I'm in contact with Zeitronix so hopefully they will be able to help me figure this out.

As soon as all that is all straightened out, I'll be able to take it for a quick ride and make sure the transmission works. haha

If that checks ok, time for an alignment and the fun part, tuning!

So slow progress but I'm getting there.

Good news, the transmission shifts and goes front and back in my driveway. Bad new, the intermediate shafts on auto and manual cars have different brackets and spacing from the block. So the trans seal leaks and the shaft binds. Finding an auto shaft is hopeless, so I will end up spacing the manual bracket out with washers.

The wideband issue is still unresolved but I have a feeling the cable they use doesn't like being squeezed in the back of my console and I'll have to rethink my gauge setup. I'm also getting super strange coolant temp readings through the ecu but my gauge reads correctly. I'm pretty sure it is because for whatever reason Mitsu decided to splice the gauge wire and sensor wire and I'm using an autometer sender, not an OEM and the signals probably don't match.

Idle is high and AFR is very rich at idle, most likely due to needing to get the VE table setup more than baseline. I am going to load my old VE table from my last tune and start with that. Should be a good starting point at least.

Got my coolant temp sensor wiring corrected, shout out to Mitsu for using the exact same wire color on the gauge and sensor wiring. Changed the idle control sensor and started it up.

Took a while to get it to idle on its own and now it is running super lean and will not richen up even after adding fuel and adding value to VE table. This tune is killing me, I've never had so much trouble setting up a tune and I'm sure it will end up being something stupid. I checked the gas tank for bad gas before starting the car so I know it has fuel, I just don't know how much... It should be enough to idle in the driveway but who knows. I will go get some fresh 93 and see how it does with a couple more gallons inside the tank. Maybe it is right at the level where it is barely reaching the pickup. So much frustration!
