I'm going to go down to a 225/45/17 instead of the 235's. They are 17x7.5 +42 offset.

Im not going to pull any punches, but yeah they dont really work on your car or that vr4 in the prior pics. They kinda suck if you ask me. The inner polished part makes it look like you are rocking 13's on that biatch but you have the GOVERMENT cheese to make the switch. Scrap them as money is no issue here. Get rid of those and put some 5 spoke 15-17 inches on there. Sell them to some desperate camel jockey who needs rims for his produce cart and call it a day. I know you are from the DC area, but dont do some stereotypical shit. And remember this, I am from Bowie, Hyattsville and Lanham...So dont jump my shit..... Eva been to Wild World?

I made the comment about the polished lips a while back, they do seem to make wheels appear smaller. I learned that when I put some 16's on my evo III clone a while back.

Geoff, bring a long blade if you cut Bosco. He's like 8' 5" and 490 lbs.

He actually sits in the hatch of his Summit when he drives it.

Gotcha! So over the years you were working in and around DC. Thought you were a native. Im a transplanted white boy if there is any thing such. My heart is from PG county but know what your talking about.. Sorry about that...Man, I wish I was over seas. I think it would really work out for me. I had a connection in Brisbane, Au but that fizzled out. I had a way in and wanted to do fabrication for a while now.. Some see me on this site as that jkazz. But I am far from that. But yeah, I went to school in DC [Howard U in the 80's] And then went back to NY to work. Transferred to Atlanta, then back up to my old stomping grounds [DC Metro].

Truth be told, The Metro area is my second home, and I love it there despite the god awful traffic!

Keep looking out for overseas jobs. Australia always has job openings but also look online for overseas contracting jobs. They need welders and sh*t like that downrange in Afghanistan at alot of the FOB's [forward operating bases]. Some of those gigs pay well over 100k. Mind you, as a contractor, your 1st 93k is tax free!

Back to the wheels for a moment, did you think they were going to have more depth to them? Or just overall look. maybe just depends on the car. And btw, yes those pics look amazing! Would like to be somewhere else other than here on the east coast.

Yes, back to the wheels.... I definitley thought they would have some more "depth" to them..... But as a previous people mentioned before and AFTER I bought them, with the "two piece" look, on a 15 inch rim, the wheel "face" is smaller which makes them look like 13's or 14's





I'll do better on the next choice......





The wheels [less rubber] will be up for sale soon at a decent price, and will reach anyones doorstep within 5-10 days of me shipping them thru Military postal.

Done. I'm still going to try and locate the window rubbbers and replace those. But all in all, it's a decent job for a 22 year old bucket of bolts
