I wasn't sure about the headliner at first but once you did the inserts on the panels it really set it off. Kinda looks oem like it came that way.

Yes looks good. I have those exact panels, well one is burgandy not blue, how did you replace the fabric?
I pulled the old fabric off, there's like a plastic liner sorta thing under it, I chose to cut that off too cause some of the old material didn't come off. After that I used the old fabric as a pattern on the new stuff. Cut it out, sprayed both the door panel and fabric twice with 3m medium adhesive. You'll need 2 people to place it on the door panel. I'm debating putting on a trim around the fabric.

Got the back bar all measured and welded in.

Not the prettiest weld but they are definitely strong.

I finished up the night after prepping the front mounting point, was getting a little too tired and started losing concentration so I'll do that first thing tomorrow. Measuring this stuff and making sure it's all right is quite stressful I must say.

I've got a little bit done in the past 2 days. I took out the old fwd tranny and 4 bolt knuckles, put in the awd tranny and xcase. I also got the front subframe mount welded in. But I have discovered a slight problem, has anyone else had a problem with the trailing arm hitting the frame?

If you are referring to the rear arms then yes. What did i do to fix it yo ask? Nothing. It will only hit the frame if you want to run a lowered suspension, which everybody does in which case your got some notching of the frame to do.

Alright, thanks for the response, I was slightly concerned. I will do some notching then.

Got the frame notched and the front carrier bearing mount welded. Hopefully I get the driveshaft completely done tonight.

Didn't work on it at all this weekend, had drill. But I got some stuff done today.

Mounted the radiator, mounted the power steering pump and ran the lines, replaced my shifter cable bushings with brass ones and ran the cables to the interior.

I am working on getting the old tie rod end off, talk about a pita. O and I can't find a 12mm x 1.25 die anywhere... Once I get that off and find a die I'll be able to mount the dsm knuckles and get the front suspension back together.

I'm also looking at a getting a Holset turbo setup, but we'll see.

This is inspiration for when I swap my white sedan soon. Keep up the good work. Also, if you could take some pics of where you had to notch the frame that would be wonderful.

Checked the fitment, looks good, I mounted it a lil farther back then stock but I can live with that.

Scirocco radiator mounted in nicely, it's a damn near perfect size for CSM's.

Here's where I needed to notch the frame.

Didn't go out to the garage today but got a couple small things done.

Here's a stock side bulster next to one with new fabric. I'm not even sure I'll be using them but o well.

Dodge modded one of the 1g bovs I had hanging around, not too hard and hopefully it will hold 30psi like people say it should. It would be nice to not have to buy a Tial or HKS.

Don't mind the ghetto top straps, they only keep the angle. It's supported on the bottom.
