Nice build! Love the wheels. Also is that a modded 1g/2g short throw shifter or a cut stocker? Thanks

Such a beautiful car. Every time my wife starts telling me to get rid of the POS Mirage with roof rust, I pull this thread up now. It doesn't convince her, because she says the Mirages are ugly, but at least she can see there are some out there that aren't withering away, lol.

Haha, thats funny my wife says the same thing. My colts not rusted anywhere except very bottom of pass fender. She still says its ugly. So when we go somewhere, we always drive the newer jeep cause she hates driving in the colt.

Lol tell her to deal with it lol. One of my girlfriends a while ago told me she you dump me if I bough a colt. Good thing things ended before hand because now I own two! 8)

Lol. Well I DD a Toyota Tundra and she has an '11 Kia Forte, so I couldn't sell her on the "Expo Mini Minivan" idea either... I go apeshit every time I see this Lime-Green Plymouth Colt-Vista in abosulte perfect shape. I've never seen one like it. Kiwi/lime green and the dude always has a surfboard on the roof. Wife still hates it.

My wife hates csms too. She hated my summit hatch. My current sedan she says looks a little better but is still ugly. Now she kind of tolerates it since I swapped a 4g in it.

So went to the track friday night. Things didn't go so well, Drove two hours to the tracks and two hours home so I was happy about that but I had issues with the race gas I was using "Klotz" and my slave cylinder crapped out. Ran 12.8 @111 getting in and out of it and missed 3rd and 4th shift because of the leaking slave. Car has 11's in it all day and I was going to prove that today at IFO but it got rained out :( How ever I will be going before the track is closed.

Well my camera is blurry and you can't make out the numbers so we will do it this way.

1st 2nd 3rd
60- 2.002 2.214 2.138
330- 5.742 5.748 5.732
1/8- 8.452 8.499 8.408
mph- 93.10 85.39 94.00
1000- 10.908 10.912 10.880
1/4- 12.999 12.897 13.354
mph- 109.81 111.35 86.03

was picking up knock all night so I was letting in and out of the throttle and the slave was leaking so I couldn't shift, the third pass I couldn't even get it in 4th gear at all so I coasted through. It being 32 degrees out and using a race fuel the car has never seen before I did not have very good luck, Slave made it all worse and not one clean run was made :-? .However all issues have been sorted out and plan on going to the track tomorrow to get my 11 sec slip.

Well I went back to the track tonight and hit the dyno before, transmission hates life and couldn't shift the car "again" but improved as far knock goes, Ran 12.5 @116 and dynoed 348hp and 350tq. self tuning and this was on race gas at 25psi tapering down to 21 with 10-12 deg of timing and this is a starion intercooler so inlet and outlet are ONE inch 7/8's so that needs to be thrown in the garbage any more timing and it would knock... better luck next year. the car is now gonna be driven for a few more weeks to give me time to put my 1ga laser together for winter and the the colt is getting stripped sand blasted and painted along with the awd colt :) Thinking about spraying them both gunmetal grey what do you guys think??
