Maybe someone said it to sell some used cam's laying around. lol. No that I'm looking I'm thinking of going with a PTE 5031 turbo what you guy's think about that turbo?
It's an awesome turbo. There are two guys on this forum currently trapping 130+ on that turbo in their CSM's, and one of them is still on a 4g61t.

Why is that somewhere between 92 and 94 the hp rating goes from 195hp to 205-210hp?

It doesn't? All 1g's with a manual trans were rated at 195hp and 203 lb/ft of torque. 2g's were rated at 210hp and 214 lb/ft of torque.

You should not need cams to make 250-300whp with an Evo 16g on a 4G61. I'm using a small 16G and I'm pretty sure I can break 300whp with the stock cams.

Prove it!

I'm not doubting you, but alot of people think they have more than they do. Get some proof, or else it's just forum jibberish.

I've seen it done in person, on an AWD car no less. You need race gas or E85 though, it's not happening on pump gas, not a chance.

I made 320whp with race gas on my old AWD Talon with a small 16G.

I just made 191whp with the 11b and 4g61. I have faith the 16g is good for more than 50whp.

What mods where on your 11b 4g61 setup? what did you us for tuning? SAFC 2? is it worth it to run a MAFT and a SAFC2 to tune the car? I seen MAFT came out with this new one that tunes a lot of the ECU's features with fuel and all that good stuff now. What's the cheapest way to tune the car for say if I go 50 trim or with a big 16g. I think a big 16g is enough for me but I also found a MHI TD06H 20g for sale hows that turbo on the 4g61t?

I'd say just spend the money on a tuning system like ECMLink or similar and never worry about it again. No matter what turbo choice you make, you can get much more out of it with a proper tuning system. If I was doing it all over again, I would have bought ECMLink a lot sooner, even on a stock turbo set-up you could gain significant horsepower.

Any larger turbo will make a 4g61t seem rather gutless on the bottom-end. The 16g should be plenty and offer better power under the curve with less complementing modifications.

My 4g61t made 280 whp on a Mustang dyno with a evo3 16g. Intake, exhaust, 1g cams, 60mmTB,550's, 190Walbro, 1g cams, plus dsm link.
I think the e3 is the perfect turbo for the '61t. The car pulled hard and had no more lag than the 14b.

So I came across a MHI big 16g for 150 slight shaft play he says and he replaced the seal's. and a MHI 20g 600 look's good he says little shaft play also. witch turbo would be best for this little 1.6L And witch injectors will hold up best?

I think a couple people already told you which turbo they thought would be best. The 16g is the way I would go. You'll want at least 660cc injectors.
