Not sure if I dig the flex fuel badge yet. Yes, I plan to run e85 as soon as I figure what injectors I want to run.

Image

Perfect for removing hubs, I tried other tools and they really didn't have the "omf" as a 5lb. slide.

Image

I need to machine about a 1/4 off the diameter to fit the hub in the VR4 rotor.

Image

Will be doing the ShawnJ mod to use my f5m33 I've had laying around. The serial number comes up as a 91' but the lower shifter arm is the same as a 90' so I should be good.

Image

Image

Ok, so i decided to get this filter in the "long" model, don't ask me why, I did not think it would be this long, it's almost 9"! and will take up even more room with the fittings attached totaling about 10-11" Not to mention it will probably be a bit of a restriction and could cause the pump to work a little harder than it has to.

I agree with you there on the ID's but my pocket book doesn't lol plus I don't really like the idea of having to buy adapters to PnP them at that price. Will probably try to find a nice set of used FICs.

Bent the lower shift arm on the DSM tranny to match the CSM one, now I just need to install and hope it's a good tranny

The manifold is at the shop getting some work done and I will be taking the hubs to a lathe this weekend.

Update: So I got the hubs machined and they are different lol WTF, maybe they are different from the factory or something. If you look at the pics above you can see they are different, one is a complete circle on the inner part and one had 4 big cut-outs, long story short we almost milled too much off the one because we were going down until it hit the circle, close call and thank fruit and banana I decided to double check.

Machining down hubs.

Fresh

GVR4 twins

Ichiba extended wheel studs w/GVR4 rotors.

Image

Sexy 8) Now what wheels to run...?

Image

Big enough filter? fml lol

Don't ask me why I plumbed the fuel rail in different from the out, I thought I'd be clever and make use of my 45* but if I were to do it again I would copy the out side because it just looks better and makes more since from an engine flex standpoint.

I am really pushing to have the car driving before this weekend, still have a ton of work to do but everything is coming together very easily, lets hope it stays that way. [-o<

Everything with the car has been good except the timing belt walking issue which is just going to take time to figure out.

Just placed an order for ARP head studs (bout time right?)and a few other small things. Have been considering SD for some time now and am thinking about ordering the bundle from ECMtuning http://www.ecmtuning.com/product_info.p ... ucts_id=50 with the plug and play harness. What do you guys think?

My goal for this season is to make 400whp and to run 11s with mid 120s traps on pump.

I plan to take the car to the dyno next month :prayer:

ARP head studs and FIC 1050cc injectors installed. Off to the shop next week for exhaust and dyno. Going to push it to 400whp on pump.. if the clutch holds that is.

Made 393.6whp and 351wtq at 25psi. on 92oct alone. We lost an injector on the dyno so that's it for now..

Good shit bro. Happy to see that you're still kicking around here and still cranking on that CSM. I've been looking around the site a lot more recently and I'm starting to get the itch again. I haven't even touched my Ramcharger lately. I need to stop screwing around and finish same blasting my motor mounts, grind the counter weights off of my torque converter, mate the engine and trans (A727 TF), and get this bad boy installed so I can start my wiring.

I just finished reading all 8 pages of your thread and even though we are talking apples and oranges, its giving me a lot of motivation to get my shit together and get my 360 Magnum dropped in. I'm happy to see that you made part of your goal. I was honestly thinking of a Squires kit for my Magnum once I get everything wired up and running right. From what I'm told, they make 245 HP and 335 lb/ft from the get. Imagine what this beast would be like with 10 lbs of boost running through it. The engine I got is from an 01 Ram and it is CLEAN.

Anyway, I'll keep you updated on my old beast, just keep us updated on that monster.

Because I know you guys like pics, even if they are crappy cell phone ones :)

Don't hate on the dyno graph too much, it is incomplete due to an injector dying. They are at FIC right now being tested.

According to FIC one of the injectors was indeed bad. When they received it it was stuck in the closed position and it's ohm readings were way off. I believe he said it was supposed to be 3ohms but measured 16ohms, all of the others were in good shape and flow matched within 1%. They also did the cleaning for free. I was notified of this on the 2nd and they were at my doorstep on the 4th at noon, wow these guys are fast and there customer service is top notch! And that was from Florida to Washington :supz:

On a side note I got my new ceramic coated o2 housing and also placed an order for a turbo blanket. Hoping they will help with summer time temps at the track and possibly help a bit with spool time too. :)
