What can I say other than I always regretted selling this car, But after a few years of waiting and 20K more miles on the Odometer she is now back in my hands.

History:
I saved this car back in 2003 from a local Pull a part yard. Back then I was a dsmer with high hopes of having the fastest DSM in Tucson AZ, Sadly I didnt have the funds to accomplish my goals, I did however find enough money to buy this colt. I was walking through the junkyard when I saw this colt sitting with the hood open and missing a fender and a Cyl head, Back then I knew nothing of CSM's. But I did notice that this car had a Turbo exhaust manifold in it! I was like, WTF? So that night I did the research and came upon 4G61t.org. Thats when I realized the rareness and potential of that sad little car. SO i saved up$400 and bought it. I didnt get any pics while she was in the Junker, But here it is in my garage.

I ended up installing a Used Jap motor with low miles which ran great until the tbelt ripped on the highway. I had warranty on that motor so i got another which is the current motor in the car today.

Here is how she sits today: in 2011. I have some big plans for this, However It will be a slow build. I currently have another two projects on my hands at the moment.

Great story and good job on saving the car. These cars are like Hemi Cudas except they aren't worth much. ;)

Update..... I was forced to sell the car again in 2012. I am I. The process of buying her back but this time it is has a half completed AWD install done to it. Rear subframe/diff is in and now to finish her! Anyone selling a factory cyborg Awd crossmember?
