I actually installed a push start switch in my '92 3g csm 1.5 non turbo, I'm not sure if the wiring would be the same, but the colors should be, if it is the black with red strip wire, that is your starter crank signal, if you were to put a pos+ power jumper to it, it should crank your engine.
I hope this helps if not let me know, like I said I recently did a push button start conversion, and when doing so I had to reverse engineering of all the wires that control the ignition switch, I made some wiring schematics, but pm me for those, I don't think it would be wise to post them on the INTERNET because the thieves pray on info like this, and I don't want to be the guy that leaks this info on to them
