Is the 89-turbo MAS wiring the same as the 1g MAS? I have it hooked up per the FAQ: PINS 2g to 1g 1 ---- 4 2 ---- 7 3 ---- 2 4 ---- 3 5 ---- 6 6 ---- 8 7 ---- 1 I started it and I am logging: Air flow 0Hz Barometer 0.0bar Air Temp -74/ now correct at +72* I'm using an 89T harness with 1g ECU with pins 6 & 14 switched. I can't be sure about the 2g MAS being good but I wanted to verify the pins are properly wired |

The 90 4G63T engine is a direct drop in so I'm sure the wiring is the same. |

I thought the 89 turbo and 90 turbo wiring was the same and what you say would confirm that. I need to verify whether or not the typical 1g to 2g MAS adapters circa 91-94 are pinned differently than the 89-90 MAS? While looking at the wiring diagram for the 89T and comparing it to a 91T per my Galant manual I see that 12volts from the MPI is supplied to the 89T at pin 3 and the 91T is supplied at pin 2. I wanted to see if anyone has noticed this and what was done. thanks- |

Well I found the problem with my Airflow and Barometric measurements. It was my fault; when I rewired the connector I reversed the top row consisting of 1 through 4. I have idle surge with the idle switch connected, but at least the values are there. |

I was pleased to see this post. I have been wondering if I didn't do something wrong with my rewire. I planned to check it out today and now I most certainly will. Glad it worked out in your favor. |
