Hi friends,

at first, sorry about my bad englisch, i come from Germany....

since 2004 i drive a C53. Now, i want to upgrade him with a turbocharger.
My Problem are not the parts, i get them earlyer(some of them from this Forum).
My Problem is the German "TÜV"!
To get the car streetlegle turbocharged, i need this.
The man of TÜV need some Information about the car i want to build. And i want a (nearly) stock 4G61T in it.
So i need orginal dokuments (or copy`s or scans) of a stock Mirage Cyborg. The most important Information is the power and emissionclass.
Also i need to knew what parts are in there. (Fuelinjektors, Turbocharger(i know TD04 11b), ECU-number), everthing about the engine.

I hope anybody can help me.

Great thanks.

The TUV is hard on cars over 5 years old, naturally.

I don't know about ECU numbers, but the injectors are 390cc on the 4g61t. Hopefully, someone will chime in here to help with those other questions you have.

We have at least one other German member here that might be able to help you.

There is a German Colt/Mirage forum, mitsurulez.de and one new member here who started a C58 Facebook group for Germans and other people alike.

I know we have all your information here. ECU numbers are in the engine archives section, in a thread with ECU in the title. Lots of C53a ECU's listed there, but not many JDM ECU numbers, mainly North America, and some in the Caribbean. We have factory Mitsu manuals in .PDF format, located here: www.lilevo.com/mirage/. Look for 89 Colt turbo. Manuals have all specs listed, but if you need more just ask! :)

I think the User mystek or ColtiXim can help with some ducuments becouse they drive Mirage turbo in European States.

@ Christian: Falls die zwei genannten User dies nicht lesen schreibe sie doch mal an. Beide haben ihre Turbos zugelassen, einer in Polen, der andere in Frankreich. Also beide EU.

If i understand correctly you want convert your colt C53 N/A to Turbo model and make a TÜV pass for a new approval test certificate ?
For your information my original C53 turbo has the same emissionclass and inssurance from the C58 Colt 1.8 GTI 4G67 motor here in France.
Only one HP less 135 vs 136 for the C58...

This TÜV test is recommended for use or you can pass this thing ?
Many European cars are swapped without new papers, bad idea i know but less complicated 8)

Hi,

yes i know that many cars are swapped without papers. but this is not ok.
I want to doo it right. (i think it will be the frist Turbo COLT/Mirage in Germany). I knew some german people that drive a turbo Colt. Everybody without papers(the right one) and no regulary registratet to can drive anytime.....
Yes i know mitsurulz. I`m a part of it since 2005.... but there is nobody that ca help me. I`m the frist who want do this in Germany.

@ Peppi_C50
ich hab geahnt das ich dich hier antreffe.... Hast du was, das ich verwenden kann?

@ everyone
The easyest way for me and the TÜV-man is an orginal Document of a C53 Turbo(a copy will be OK). There are all informations i need to get the new or correctet documents. If ist possible, i want the 160HP engine, i think the JDM Mirage(this will be the most powerfull Colt in Germany with documents if ist done).
Every Information else i can use from the orginal Mitsubishi manuels, i think(and hope). I have to ask the TÜV-man for it.

@ ColtiXim
Yes u understand correct.
The Information with the emissionclass is fine, but i need it on a document! Thats everything.....
Yes i need a TÜV test! If i dont have one, the Police can stop me and say:"This is not OK. Out of the car. You don`t have to drive with it."

Thanks on everybody at this time. I have to read the Manuals.....

Wenn du dir eine Kopie vom Brief von ColtiXim geben lässt, und dein C50 daruf umschreiben lässt, könntest du dann eine Leistungssteigerung eintragen lassen. Das wäre eine Möglichkeit.

I have never seen anything but OE replacement head gaskets for the 4G61.

You may have luck with this company making you a custom gasket from copper:

Hi,

i think i find a nother way than a 4G61T metal head gasket.
I think ist easy!
A 4G63T Gasket!
Its awaylable in 85,5mm bore and a tikness of 2,4mm(0.095inch).
It make a compress Ratio of 9,4:1 if i dont make a mistake.
Thats good!
What did you think about it?

4G63t well, because i find some Posts with users that do this without Problems...
