can anyone tell me if a 2nd gen dsm shaft will work for me? I have a 92 colt with 4g63t with a fwd dsm trans and original colt turbo axles. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Your factory turbo axles will work with the Dsm trans....if that helps

I'm not sure if a 2g will work, the transmissions are different than the 1g trans. It can't be that hard to find a 1g halfshaft.

one more question, how thick of spacers do I need to make up for the lack of ac bracket?

I usually just trim the corner of the ac bracket off and use that as the spacer.

Use the trimmed a/c bracket or hardened washers. They absolutely have to be hardened washers too, no 5cent regular washers. There's no real set amount of spacing, add/subtract washers until the shaft is spinnable by hand with it bolted down.
