While under the Colt I notice the rack is loose where it mounts to the firewall. Is there big washers missing, a bracket, or is that the way it mounts and my rubber insert is worn?

It looks like a P.O. replaced the R&P and didn't install it correctly? I pulled the bolt and insert out but the insert just would not go in under the car. So I pressed the steel out of the rubber (which afterwards I realize it was one piece to begin with). Reinstalled it all and it looks like it may hold (or I need a bigger washer). From the looks of it a P.O. ripped the top insert when reinstalling.

A larger washer is a good idea to keep the rubber from trying to squeeze over the head of the bolt.
