I'm looking at two turbos. A gt3561 its non ball bearing. I can't seem to find much info on it. Or a gt3582r.. This is for a street car. I don't care about low end power.. Any input on either would be great. This will be on a 4g63 2.0

Correct me if i'm wrong guys, but aren't the garret "r" series turbos made reverse for evo applications? That would make it one hell of a project to flip the intake and exhaust.

Either one will result in little to no traction in a CSM, both will be fine. I would never pay the price for a ball bearing turbo, but the 3582 is a better, more up to date turbo. The 3561 is an early variant and plent of people, especially cleveland folks have made some magic happen with the 3561 type turbos. If you can swing it, got with a .82 T3 housing. Don't try and fuss with a bolt on housing. Heck, even a small T4 would work well.

No. The "R" means that the turbo is a ball bearing unit.
