What is it? Stock Bottom, and Modified bottom end.

Just wondering-I have a lot of spare parts in my garage and I just don't want them to go to waste (unless its in spectacular fashion) :)

I think the "black widow" dynoed 400whp or something? I can't think of anyone else who has tried to make big power on the 61t and actually gotten #'s out of it.

I know! Only 1.6 car I put together I never dynoed, but it has no issue staying next to a car that just trapped 137mph in a 40-160 mph pull. The video from that run was lovely. :)

Looks like I have a number to shoot for. Anyone else?

How light is the car? The black widow trapped 138 I think and was like 2,000lbs. with driver or something. It was a torqueless wonder though, made less than 300 lb/ft. Good for FWD I guess...

Let's see that video you speak of! 8)

2300lbs give or take-It was a real GT.

I'll look for it- I doubt the car would have trapped 138, maybe low 130's thats it.

Just an update-

I am pretty much committed to keeping the Colt a 1.6. Now- for reference-

The black widdow has a 35r, correct? I have a 35r and a BB 72mm sitting here, I think she'll get the big boy for Dyno queen status :)

Pretty sure the black widow had an FP3065.

Blackwidow has a 3582r and made 403 whp uncorrected at 26-27 psi. It was still on a single 255 and stock fuel lines and breaking up after 7500. He just purchased a baseline 3 pull deal so we couldn't tune it or make changes on the dyno. I know Jared has cured alot of last seasons issues and should see some major improvements.

35r, though so.

I have one here, but I'll prob put the big boy on just to see if we cant scatter the motor. :)

I'd be shocked if you managed to scatter a 61t without a major malfunction to another system. The super short stroke and lack of displacement just seem to make it hard to do. They seem to always have some minor issue like a cracked land ring or something, I'd love to see what it takes to blow one up completely. 8)

The motor has a cracked ring land now (tuned into hole in piston). I have stock replacements- but I may just put a better substitute in a go for the overall 61 number. :)

Upon further review-the 1.6 I had in mind would be out of the budget for the build, and require a bit too much custom parts. I have to many 2.0 Parts int he bin, ready to rock, to warrant a big money 1.6 build.

The 498 the Jamaican made will have to stay on top for now. :)
