My 91 summit has a 92 dsm engine harness, a 90 ecu, 91+ coil/ptu, and an 89 turbo tach.

I've added a tach filter and ran the extra wire straight to the tach. I get no signal except when I start and stop the engine, It bounces a little.

The ecu has no problems with the signal. The logger shows me rpm. I've read the stickies and other links and an pretty confident the ecu is fine with it's singnal but still no working tach.

Has anyone out there used a similar stepup with success? Any advise on getting his tach working?
