Going to need more info, does it feel like the clutch pedal is firm? Do you know if the clutch fork is being moved at all by the slave cylinder? Are you sure it isn't a problem with the hydrolic system?

If it isn't the master or slave cylinder and the clutch fork is being moved, then you probably have a few broken fingers on the pressure plate or worse.

Get someone to watch the slave cylinder, it should move almost an inch when you press the pedal in. If its not moving that far, its a problem with the hydraulic part of it. Is the floor wet with oily stuff by the pedals?

yeah it moves about a half an inch, maybe just a quarter not enough to disengage the clutch, i know the presure plate is fine its a act 2600 I just put it in, pedal dont seem stiff enough.

Have you bled it out using 1 driver and 1 person under the car, or was it gravity bled?

I will throw this out there as it was the only way that worked for me:

Someone has to pump the pedal towards the floor as you crack the screw open at the slave cylinder. You then have to close the screw just as the pedal reaches full travel, or nearly before. You cannot pump up the system like with hydraulic brakes, so this is how it is done. If you've done this, disregard what I've mentioned, other newcomers may find this useful all the same.

I've found that having someone pump while someone cracks the bleeder open and puts their thumb or finger over it to add resistance/keep air from entering back in works well. My clutch disengages great, fairly high up. I'm running a new slave, 1g turbo master and ss line replacing the rubber one.

Just open the bleeder a tiny bit at time, like 1/16th a turn and you can bleed them yourself. Don't forget to stick a hose on it otherwise all that pressure is going to spray fluid everywhere.

i have actually had this problem before on a new act 2600. It ended up being the brand new pressure plate. I sent it back to act and they found an issue with the pressure plate and fixed free of charge minus the shipping for sending it to them.
