I recently purchased a 63 swapped 92 Colt. The mounts are all shot, and I'd like to upgrade to polyuerethane ones. I was told the mounts are out of a hyundai elantra. Do I get a 1g DSM poly kit? I'm not finding any mount kits for Elantras, but the 1G ones LOOK like they should work.

Anyone have anything?

Search Prothane for the mounts.

Prothane doesn't make inserts specifically for a CSM or an Elantra. You have to use DSM inserts. You can use a DSM rear insert for the CSM rear mount, and DSM tranny mount inserts for the rest of the mounts. This is what you do for CSM mounts anyway, not sure how that changes for Elantra mounts or if it's the same thing.

Thanks Bosco. I'll look more into it when I plan on doing this in the next couple of weeks.

Umm, the part numbers there are for DSM mounts. Prothane does not make mounts specific for a CSM, I have gone to their site and checked. Neither does Energy Suspensions, I have also gone to their site and checked. I gave that guy good solid advice, so you don't have shit you can say to me.

Hey man, whereabouts are you located in the SE?

As far as the motor mounts, Prothane polys are what you're gonna want. The part #'s are in the archives, but IIRC they are 13-1501 and 13-1506. You need 3 and 1. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.

I was looking on this below and I remembered this thread. Just need to order 3 Tranny and 1 Rear for the 1G Eclipse to get the mounts inserts for the CSM.
