I will be swapping a 4g63t into my colt 4speed (cable tranny) this coming spring. The searches I have encountered talk alot about drilling and making holes for the Clutch pedal swap, but has anyone considered using the conversion from Innovative Mounts for the older style honda's? Here's the link, let me know what you guys think... http://www.innovativemounts.com/Product ... Code=41001 |

That's one option, someone else makes a conversion for the cable hondas that don't use a hydro slave or master cylinder. I like that one more personally. |

I'm going to hit up some junk yards today, there are 3 colts at my local yard and a few older model cable trans hondas. I'll take a few measurements while I'm there, do some comparisons. I'll let you guys know what I come up with. Oh yeah, I'm an IT Technician, if I sold those for a living or at all, I could probably pull one out of the box and check the specs without wasting anyone's time. But thanks man, its nice to know I've joined a forum where people follow the rules. |

I went to the yard today, picked up a fender because that's what I originally went there for. I'll be going back on Saturday if you guys want to chime in for my results. |

You can get the hydro assembly off the 1.8 liter models. It'll bolt right up. You may also want to get the tranny if its available too. A good site for more info on the 4g's is http://Mirageforums.net |
