Post subject:  Leaking oil......Help.....

What up.. I bought a build motor from a friend of my, the balance shaft has been removed. After starting the car for the first time is leaking oil from the balance shaft.... Anybody know what when wrong or if i need to replaced anything...

did you plug that old hole in the front cover? where the shaft was.
also need to put a bolt in the hole where the old pulley was.

Make sure the the plug for the front balance shaft didn't pop out. They do that sometimes :wink:

what plug? The bolt is where the balance shaft was removed, im going to put sylicon to see if stop leaking. Thanks....

That plug is there. But i took the bolt out just a little bit and it looks like dont have sylicon on it and it looks like the leak comes right from that bolt. Im just going to put a lot sylicon to see what happens. Thanks for ur help, so far you are the only person that answer my question when i ask on the site. i really thank you.......
