What's up guys, just wanting to know will the axle on the driver sidefrom the 1g's work with our half shafts, mine broke today so i need one fast and have access to one, someone please let me know. it broke at the wheel. |

its the actuall axle on the driver side, the half axle |

its the outer axle,some reason it pulled out of the boot at the intermediate shat, any info by tonight would be greatly appreciated so i can go to the junkyard tomorrow and get one.need my car by wednesday to go to work, thanls, aron |

so you used the long axle, not the half shaft, i still have the 1.6 tranny |

yes..Im using a 2.0 tranny though. Redsleeper broke his at the shootout last year and he bought a 1g from the parts store and it worked fine as far as I know He was using the 1.6 tranny. Maybe you should pm him and ask him. |

I can't imagine them working, I thought a 1G axle was even longer than the 1.6L axle. I remember hearing people talking about how they would bind up because they were too long. |

i did some searching and found my answer, it didn't snap, for some reason it pulled out of the cup at the intermediate shaft and the bearings came off. |

I did break my stock 2 piece drivers side axle at the shoot out.. I went and bought a axle for a 90 FWD turbo DSM and it worked just great. Actually. its still in my car. NEVER had a problem with it. Hope this helps. |
