car drives fine for a few days, and then all of a sudden will not rev past 2000rpm, stutters, has problems idleing, if i let it sit for awhile its fine, sometimes i have to wait a few hours. it only happens when i ve been driving the car for awhile, and then shut it off, when i goto to restart it has these symptoms, and does not stop untill i have let the car sit for awhile.

since the symptoms are intermittent, maybe igniter or coil pack, somthing on the throttle body, or the CAS, maf? ecu? im in the dark, anyone have this problem?

this is a stock 4g63t motor.

Always smart to check the ECU first. Open it up to see if any caps leaked, and even then borrow a working ecu and try it out with the new one.

I would doubt if it was the MAF...the transistor pack is notoirous for those sort of simptoms and easy to check...
