no boost leaks. I robbed a bunch of shit from my talon (fuel pump, piping, etc.) so I know I'm getting fuel. |

What ECU and what MAF are you using ?

Somehow I think it's either air flow related or an ignition issue. |

he is using a 89GT motor, harness, 90 DSM MAF and 89GT ECU...all my old swap goodies since I am no longer building a clone maybe I should loan him my 90DSM ECU...to go along with my 90 throttle body from my donor 4g63...and give him my Elantra front brakes to go with the GT rears... some parts that I'd like to find still...KM210 (he is using the F5M22 from 1.8 eclipse) and turbo axles (good luck, I know) do you think it could be the CAS? I am WAY too nice ~joe |

Do those play well with each other? I thought they were different. AKA either go with a turbo CSM MAF or up the injectors to 450's and run a DSM ECU.

Usually with a rev limit that isn't expected its due to bad ignition coils or bad spark plugs. Too much of a gap and not enough power to ignite it fast enough ect. |

Yeah, but I don't think the CSM MAF has the same output as the DSM one. The ECU is tuning for a DSM sensor but it is actually from a CSM one. That statement is totally valid IF you are using the correct sensors and whatnot. We have other factors here.I am positive that info is on the site somewhere, but I'll leave that search up to the pony |

Stealthpony, I may be interested in that 61T ECU. I have another project in the making. |

I think this is the same problem i'm having on one of my swaps. I have a dsm ecu, with a 61 mas. It revs up to like 1500 and falls on it's face. But I can unplug the maf and rev it up just fine. I'm going to try a 1G maf now. |
