Oh I see that your already running just one spring, in that case I guess your only options are to purchase a softer spring (pretty redundant to do for a knockoff bov) or purchase a new BOV. I would suggest you find a 1g bov and go with that. They may not have the fancy noise emitting capabilities as many aftermarket bov's do but they work awesome. I have a few laying around I would be willing to give to you for just about free.
Hmm I may be interested in that my friend! To be fair frozenboost.com makes good products but It would be nice to have something "legit" you know what I mean? Plus minus well keep all the turbo stuff in the mitsu family lol. Can the 1g BOV still use the greddy style flange tho?

Did some searching and unfortunately the IG BOV flange is too long ;( It would be easier to just get a new type s style BOV or to get a real type rs since greddy doesnt make the type s anymore.

The greddy bov's can bolt up to the 1g flange with minor modifications (redrilling new bolt holes) but the 1g bov cant bolt onto the greddy flange because its too short. So you would have to change flanges.

Should be easy man. Just drill it, re-chase the threads and put in a bigger screw. If you have the necessary items should take all of 10 minutes.

Who keeps tightening the bolts too tight and stripping the aluminum threads? Knock it off!

When in doubt, every nut and bolt has a torque listing in the FSM. Torque wrenches are cheaper than some ratchets.

Switch to a maft setup and run blowthrough if you really want to have the bov sound.
