4g61t ecu = 4g61t maf and 390 cc injectors
4g63t ecu (1G) = 4g63t maf and 450 cc injectors

The 4g61t MAF has a different HZ signal and also flows less air at idle and at higher RPM's. If you have the 2 side by side you'll know why. :P

How much? Not that I really wanna see that car again. I have way to much carport wrench time invested.

I put a thread for 1600.00. I think it's a pretty good price.

still have the same problem after swapping in a 2.0L maf. revs to about 1500rpms and wants to fall down on its face. Just like the 1.6L maf. I compared it next to the turbo colt. It looks like the only difference in wiring is the vac sensors on the firewall. Do those need to be plugged in? I'm not using them, but i wonder if they need to be plugged in for some reason? I pulled them out of the car.

It's wierd, because if i take the maf sensor off the car revs just fine. GRR!

have you tried checking base timing with a timing light? also double/triple check your timing belt is on right ie: cam sprocket dowls ^up^ and marks aligned on them, and crank timing mark lined up
