Well, as alot of your guys know, I picked up a 94 Mirage LS shortly before going overseas in 2008. I put her in storage out here in Illinois, and for the most part forgot about her.
Well, fast forward to 2012, and I'm back! Well, the years in storage werent good to the car. The humidity played havoc to the roof! Rust spots just like on the 3G's that alot of you guys have! I'll get to fixing that later....

The more important issues had to do with what happened under the car. The gas tank filler hose was dry rotted, so the first chance I got, I ordered a new one from
jnztuning.com

The injectors were clogged with rotted gas, as was the tank. A quick drain and new injectors, wire/cap, and rotor got her back running decent!

The previous owner had dogs, and the carpet in the car smelled like dog ass, so out came the carpet, and in went a replacement unit from jcwhitney.com!!

The suspension was shot to hell, so I installed KYB GR2 all aound with Megan Racing Springs. 1.5" rears, and 2" fronts. We installed a modded 1G/VR4 FWD-ish rear disc brake assembly, and I'll be following up with a front 1G DSM/4x114.3 swap soon.

I rounded off the suspension with Tenzo Meister V2 gunmetal wheels, with Falken tires
For the time being, she'll be a daily driver til I find out where my new assignment will be.

I figured I'd post the pics here, since they're 4G specific.

In any case, enjoy! :)

i was wondering the same thing. I had just dropped her off the jacks. I'm wondering if it just needs time for the suspension to settle in.

sorry I never replied to the last question. Been busy trying to get Cert'd up in order to get this job I'm now on as a Combat support specialist out here in Kuwait!! A little about that car. I had used it as a daily driver from July 12 to about May 2013...... Never once did it leave me hanging!!!! A buddy of mine bought it for his son and drove it cross country to Maryland!!!! He said the temp gauge went up a little, but he was aware the radiator was old and needed swapping out!!!

Glad you guys are still keeping these cars alive and kicking! I'll always consider this site and everyone here family! :)

I recently got word from a friend that there was a car for sale back in Maryland that I have been looking for. well, I went ahead and bought it......

I bought a 1991 Mazda (FC) RX7. The bodies in decent condition. The owner is selling it because engine floods out on startup. It's a known condition that most FC owners are aware of, but it makes no difference to me. We're in the midst of compiling all the parts for a swap as I write this sentence.....

I'm building a LSx-7/T56

All the best fellas!!
