Heres a thread I posted earlier this year, I had the same questions for my Hyundai Excel, Which I have been told is a Modified C10 Chassis.
I was able to get a good look at this rear end/subframe today.
The car is an AWD 5-speed 1991 Colt Vista wagon. The rear looks similar to the setup in my hyundai excel, hence my interest in starting this thread. I was able to find a part number on the pumpkin today MB290516 can anyone tell me if this is compatible with an AWD manual DSM Tranny?
Like my car, the Vista does not use a rear macphearson strut. And it looks like the rear of the vista is a torsion type with no coil spring.
Heres the pics.
THIS IS HOW MY REAR SUSPENSION LOOKS. 1991 HYUNDAI EXCEL FWD
