I am close to starting. I have decided on the approach, but have not bought the steel, made any cuts, or started a weld. Point is, if this is viable, let's see it. I need to decide now. I have an open mind. (Some say it's drafty.  )

When looking under the car if you look on the pass sideof the floor there are two bolt hole that have nothing in them.Looks like the same spacing as the bolt holes for the fwd cross member. This is where the back of the crossmember bolts up to.The front bolts up like stock
So, you have made a crossmember to substitute for this factory piece?

would that one bolt up and work in are cars? how hard are they to find?

You have to contact a person/company in a country overseas that got the 4wd models, like Australia and New Zealand to name a few.

The original Mitsu piece of the custom piece that is being advertised as the start of this thread?

I don't know of anyone running the original piece that has EVER posted here. I try to stay as Global as possible. 8)

There is a guy in connecticut that has one that he currently isn't using. I PM'ed him about a month ago asking if he'd be willing to let me take it off his hands and he wouldn't. Other than that he's the only guy I know who has one.
