My cars an open diff right now and just wondering if I should pull the trans and install an lsd or try out some slicks first and see if it hooks? Also any one running 14" slicks?

Nice! Need to get some tires on this thing. Wheel spin is bad @ 70mph :D What rims did you run?

I couldn't do any better then a 2.0 when I was fwd with drag radials. Maybe I can't launch a fwd worth a crap but I am able to pull 1.7s with awd on street tires. You will need slicks to pull decent 60's.

Ill be getting full slicks for sure. Drag radials are pretty useless on any car.

its the dr's.. I was getting 2.1's all day long on the fwd 5 speed (with dr's)..went auto last month..same dr's and couldnt get better than a 2.0 still. for fwd's you definatly need real slicks not dr's..

Best 60' I could get out of my colt w/ a fwd dsm trans and 13" slicks was a 1.6. Was still spinning the tires through 2nd gear though.
