Finally got back out there new tires and bov, turned it up to 26 psi. Its too bad the new tires are horrible. Best 60 foot i could muster was 1.98.. Got in three passes and that was my best 60... I was cutting consistent 1.80 with the old tires (which were bald nonetheless). But the more boost and colder air worked out o.k. I did 11.83 122.7 then did 11.80 @ 122.9 So im happy about the power of the car its just too bad the new tires are so shitty. If i could get it to launch i could run low elevens easy. I could only do that once of course but it would have been nice to go end the race season getting kicked off the track. There is racing next sunday too and i could probably just slap a whole different set of wheels on it but the extra weight of the wheels would slow me down.. Maybe ill just call it a year and focus on the elantra. There really is no reason to complain about that. |
